The fields of study carried out at FEPE are related to reducing ecological footprint, water management, energy systems. CUT has experience in developing sustainable water management solutions for cities, such as a technology for waste recovery, processing, and revitalization of contaminated areas (POIR.04.01.02-00-0032/17), and a water supply network for collective systems water supply (POIR.04.01.04-00-0041/18).
In SmartFood CUT is responsible for water and wastewater technology, especially designing and implementing highly effective methods of water and wastewater treatment, water supply and sewage disposal, stormwater management, especially quality of rainwater.
Her field of expertise is sanitary engineering within the field of water supply and sewerage, water and wastewater treatment. In addition, she is an expert on stormwater management including mitigation of the effects of climate change. She has been working as an academic teacher for 15 years. She was a member of research teams in several projects. She is the author/co-author of over 50publications. Since 2019, he has been a member of the FutureLab CUT Scientific Council.
He is a graduate of chemical and food technology, is a researcher at the Department of Environmental Technologies, Faculty of Environmental Engineering and Energy, Cracow University of Technology, Cracow, Poland. He is a specialist in the field of industrial water and wastewater treatment and has several years of practical experience. His scientific achievements include over 50 scientific papers, expert assessments and industrial implementations. His research involves the synthesis of green chemical oxidants and heavy metal precipitants.
