The event provided room for in-depth discussions, knowledge sharing, and opportunites to improve our planned scientific collaborations.
The kick-off meeting was the first official event in the project that allowed for the consortium to meet, albeit virtually. Short presentations were given by each partner, which provided a clear overview of our joint objectives towards fulfilling the long-term vision of cities of the future, where switching to sustainable food consumption and production patterns increases healthy eating habits, reduces reliance on food retailing, reduces food waste, and strengthens the communal connection in urban buildings.
