Pursuant to Art. 13 section 1 and 2 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Regulation on data protection) (OJ EU L 119 of 04/05/2016, p. 1), hereinafter referred to as "GDPR", we would like to inform you that:
1. the joint controllersof your personal data are the Partners of the Scientific Consortium implementing the SmartFood project:
a. Research and Innovation Centre Pro-Akademia , based in Konstantynów Łódzki, at ul. Innowacyjna 9/11, 95-050 Konstantynów Łódzki, Poland – Project Promoter, being the designated contact point for data subjects (in accordance with Article 26(1) of the GDPR);
b. Cracow University of Technology, based in Kraków, at ul. Warszawska 24, 31-155 Kraków, Poland;
c.  Maria Grzegorzewska University, based in Warsaw, at ul. Szczęśliwicka 40, 02-353 Warsaw, Poland;
d. The Climate and Environmental Research Institute NILU, based in Kjeller, at ul. Instituttveien 18, 2007 Kjeller, Norway;
e. Western Norway Research Institute (WNRI – Vestlandsforsking), based in Sogndal, at ul. Royrgata 4, 6856 Sogndal, Norway;
f. Norwegian Business School (BI – Handelshøyskolen BI), based in Oslo, at ul. Nydalsveien 37, 0484 Oslo, Norway.
2. Information about your personal data is provided by the Personal Data Protection Specialist at the Research and Innovation Centre Pro-Akademia, who can be contacted in writing by sending information via e-mail to the following address: iod@proakademia.eu or to the address provided above.
3. Your personal data will be processed pursuant to Art. 6 section 1 letter c GDPR in order to recruit Participants of the conference as part of the SmartFood project.
4. the recipients of your data will be persons or entities to which the recruitment documentation will be made available based on the Project Financing Agreement entitled "SmartFood: Engaging citizens in food diversity in cities"
5. Your personal data will be stored in accordance with the Project Financing Agreement until December 31, 2029.
6. Your personal data will not be transferred to a third country or international organization. The GDPR applies to all countries belonging to the European Economic Area, including Norway, which is not a third country within the meaning of the regulation.
7. Providing personal data is voluntary, but necessary to participate in the Project.
8. pursuant to Art. 22 GDPR, decisions regarding your personal data will not be made in an automated manner
9. you have:
a. pursuant to Art. 15 GDPR, the right to access your personal data;
b. pursuant to Article 16 of the GDPR, the right to rectify your data (exercising this right cannot result in a change in the result of the recruitment of workshop participants)
c. pursuant to Article 18 of the GDPR, the right to request the joint controllers to limit the processing of personal data, subject to the cases referred to in Art. 18(2) GDPR (the right to limit processing does not apply to storage, to ensure the exercise of legal remedies or to protect the rights of another natural or legal person, or for important reasons of public interest of the European Union or a Member State );
d. the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office if you believe that the processing of your personal data violates the provisions of the GDPR.
10. you are not entitled to:
a. in connection with Art. 17 section 3 letter b,d or e of the GDPR, the right to delete personal data;
b. the right to transfer personal data referred to in Art. 20 GDPR;
c. pursuant to Art. 21 GDPR, the right to object to the processing of personal data, because the legal basis for the processing of your personal data is Art. 6 section 1 letter c GDPR.
